Chief Master Sergeant COLTIN D. SWEENEY

CMSgt Coltin D. Sweeney is the Command Chief for the 120th Airlift Wing, Montana Air National Guard, Great Falls, Mont. As the Command Chief, Chief Sweeney represents the highest level of enlisted leadership and is the principal advisor to the 120th Airlift Wing Commander. Chief Sweeney is responsible for all matters influencing the health, morale, welfare, and professional development of Airmen assigned to the 120th Airlift Wing.
 
CMSgt Sweeney entered the Air Force October 2002 with follow on technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. He completed the Utilities Systems Apprentice course May 2003. CMSgt Sweeney’s first duty assignment was the 60th Civil Engineer Squadron, Travis AFB, Calif. While assigned there he utilized the Palace Chase program transferring to the Montana Air National Guard and became part of the 219th RED HORSE Squadron, Malmstrom AFB, Mont. Oct 2004. During Chief Sweeneys tenure at the 219th RED HORSE Squadron he was assigned as the Emergency Manager, Commander Support Staff Superintendent, Materiel Management Superintendent and Logistics Section Superintendent. Chief Sweeney was selected to work as an agent of the Air National Guard Readiness Center to facilitate a Total Force RED HORSE Enterprise re-structure and re-vitalization transitioning the organizations into a capabilities-based force multiplier rather than an in-place enduring rotational force. Prior to his current position, the CMSgt was the Senior Enlisted Leader, 219th RED HORSE Squadron, Malmstrom AFB, Mont.
