Parachute harness

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Lt. Col. Paul K. Carlton III, 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing director of staff, shows Maj. Elisabeth Schmidt, 332nd AEW executive officer, the life preserver unit and other parts of a pilot’s parachute harness March 7, 2012 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Pilots use the harness to secure themselves into the aircraft prior to take-off. Carlton is deployed from Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
